This artwork displays a ‘Floral Burst’ with big red blooming flowers, pink salvias along with delicate blue and yellow flourishes. This multitude of florals with delicate pieces of foliage are scattered against a backdrop of corresponding colourful blobs. The design wraps around the crisp white fine bone china mug from Dunoon which allows the beautiful colours to stand out effortlessly. This eye-catching, floral design continues with matching print featured on the handle and the inside rim of the mug. The flowers are beautifully illustrated, with complimentary colours. Named after the Scottish Mountains of the same name, is a larger version of the Lomond shape mugs. It has a gentle slope to the body and a curved handle. With a range of fabulous designs to choose from this 'oversized' mug is a must. With a capacity of 480ml they are both dishwasher and microwave safe, with the exception of any mugs with gold embellishment. 480mls.
Caroline Bessey was born in Wigan, Lancashire and studied art, further specialising in ceramics at Lancashire Polytechnic, gaining a distinction award in 1986. Caroline is inspired by current trends and styles and has worked for Dunoon since 1987 and, although she is devoted to designing fabulous coffee and tea mugs, Caroline does not drink either of them!
